a year in poems

two sister an ocean apart. unraveling the complexities of life. reflecting on their childhoods. bonding over our love of words, spoken and unspoken.

this project began in the beginning of 2024. spanning over 6 months. my sister elizabeth and I wrote each other one poem each week. we would alternate choosing the themes of the week. this become an exploration of the unconscious and a reflection of our shared past.
