About:

San Francisco based multimedia artist and curator
...
As a young child, I came to know death in a very intimate
manner. The understanding of the peculiarity and preciousness of life has driven me to obsessively document life around me. In an attempt to contain my nostalgia and honor the sacredness of the present, I turn to art as a container for these notions. Through photography, collage, and writing, I attempt to create a conversation with spirit, to develop an understanding of the why of the universe, and an appreciation of the unknown. When creating, I work myself into a place of presence. It's a void
space. It's a space for me to reflect on the beauty of life and remember how lucky we are to have just one more day.
My work is a celebration and honoring of life I’ve lived and an homage to all the people who have journeyed with me.
